Rye whiskey with apple brandy and bitters

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz (22.2 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
    Fresh squeezed
  • 2 dashes (1.2 ml) Angostura Aromatic Bitters
    Autumn spice warmth
  • 2 oz (59.1 ml) Rye Whiskey
    American rye whiskey
  • 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Apple Brandy
    Calvados preferred
  • 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Maple Syrup
    Pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Add 2 oz rye whiskey, 1/2 oz apple brandy, 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 oz maple syrup to shaker
  2. Add 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  3. Fill with ice and shake vigorously
  4. Strain into chilled coupe glass
  5. Garnish with apple slice
