Gin cocktail with crème de violette and maraschino

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz (22.2 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
    Fresh squeezed
  • 1 dash (0.6 ml) Angostura Orange Bitters
    Optional but recommended
  • 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Crème de Violette
    Violet liqueur for color
  • 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Maraschino Liqueur
    Luxardo Maraschino
  • 2 oz (59.1 ml) Gin
    London Dry gin

Instructions

  1. Add 2 oz gin, 1/2 oz crème de violette, 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur, and 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice to shaker
  2. Add 1 dash orange bitters if using

    Optional but recommended

  3. Fill with ice and shake vigorously
  4. Double strain into chilled coupe glass

    Use fine mesh strainer

  5. Garnish with maraschino cherry
