Gin sour with grenadine and egg white

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz (22.2 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
    Fresh squeezed
  • 2 dashes (1.2 ml) Angostura Orange Bitters
    Adds citrus complexity
  • 1 whole (1.0 whole) Egg White
    For texture and foam
  • 2 oz (59.1 ml) Gin
    London Dry gin
  • 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Grenadine
    Real pomegranate grenadine

Instructions

  1. Add 2 oz gin, 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 oz grenadine to shaker
  2. Add 1 egg white and 2 dashes orange bitters
  3. Dry shake vigorously without ice

    Essential for foam

  4. Add ice and shake again vigorously
  5. Double strain into chilled coupe glass
